The Client: Semi-Retired MD (Accelerating Wealth)


 

Semi-Retired MD (SRMD) is a company that teaches doctors how to invest in real estate. To date they’ve educated 3,000+ physicians, high-income professionals, and their spouses how to find, select, and purchase cashflowing rental properties.


THE SITUATION:

After several successful launches of their flagship course, Zero to Freedom Through Cashflowing Rentals, SRMD created a short-term rental investing (STR) course: Accelerating Wealth: Short-Term Rental Blueprint (AW).

Because AW was a brand-new course, all copywriting and advertising materials needed to be created from scratch.

THE SOLUTION: OBSESSION WRITING

The owners intended AW to function as a feeder course for their flagship course, Zero to Freedom (ZTF). So the theme became debunking the fallacy of trading time for money.

The owners, including several of their ZTF students, had already achieved impressive results with STRs. We were able to feature those as part of the sales argument as to why STRs could help doctors achieve financial freedom (with the appropriate disclaimers, of course).

To support pre-launch, we created a short-term rental calculator with instructions and a supporting nurture sequence that led to a waitlist sign-up form.

To test the messaging, we included a thank-you page survey to gather voice of customer data.
